But seriously, as my duaghrer protested to her teacher, there is a "discrimination" that says "if you are Chinese, you must like and be good at math." I myself never like nor have been good at math, so I couldn't care less if my daughter is not getting perfect in math. For that matter, I don;t really care if she gets into an Ivy league or not. Secretly, I hope she can go to a good school with a decent financial package so we can save the bundle and give it to her later for her graduate or professional training or as seed money for her first house or business.
