the slow progress with speech therapist, I am trying to encourage her to carry on the therapy. I have seen some moms giving up speech therapy, because all they see is the therapist playing games with their children and they don't see much progress in short period of time.

I completely agree with you, she should have a thorough evaluation done for her kid.
