Visa Signature

NOT all credit cards provide rental car insurances, so you need to check your card.

Also not all rental car insurances provided by credit cards are the same. For example, Mastercard Plantinum provides a better coverage including losses that are not caused by collision, such as hail storm damage.
Visa Signature only covers collision.

First is to check your card, then read the fine print.

We used the coverage provided by Mastercard Plantinum this September. We only have liability coverage on our car insurance so it does not cover rental car. However our Mastercard Plantinum took care of that. It works great.
