I am not trying to insult you, but to tell you my ideas. How are you doing while you are thinking that your son is hopeless. You may find out that your son is doing pretty ok if you ask the question that I ask you. Besides your son really does not necessarily follow your or others’ suit. For instance, your son may not necessarily go to top university as you or your hu*****and or other kids might do. I guess most times, our parents do have a hope on our kids, which is too high. It is good to have A. But what’s a big deal if he gets B?

People have different personality and character. Some people are good at one thing, may not good at other. You make living by doing what you are doing. Your son may make living by doing what he likes to do. He may do much better than you do in the future. Please try to find out what he is good at and encourage him.
