It means that there is a class action against a party and you may be a member of the class. You have the right to choose either to stay in or to withdraw from the class. If you choose to stay in the class, the outcome of the lawsuit will be bound to you, i.e. you have no right to sue again if you are not satisfied with the result. If you choose to withdraw from the group, you will not be entitled to any compensation if the outcome favors the plaintiff (the class). However, you have the right to sue by yourself on the same issue.
