actually I am not very sure about the exact price for the case you said. but monthly payment is really not popular in Korea. people who rent apts often make a deposit to the owner's account for 2 years, and in case of a 2-room apt, it might be some 100 M for deposit in a middle level place. even you pay monthly, you still need to deposit some money for guarantee.
