The AP Scholar Awards are academic distinctions given to high schoolers who excel on Advanced Placement (AP) exams. They recognize college-level achievement and can be listed on resumes and applications. There are multiple award levels based on average score and the number of exams with a score of 3 or higher:
AP Scholar: Score 3 or higher on at least 3 AP exams
AP Scholar with Honor: Score 3 or higher on at least 4 AP exams and average at least 3.25 across all AP exams
AP Scholar with Distinction: Score 3 or higher on at least 5 AP exams and average at least 3.5 across all AP exams
