请教大家关于Common App essay的topic

请问Common App的主文书是写跟学业相关的题目好还是其他题目好？我明白主文书是让招生官了解学生是怎样一个人，但是具体操作还是不知道该怎么下手。孩子没有什么EC, 唯一稍拿得出手的今年暑假的一个research intern，主文书写跟这个经历有关的题目比较好，还是在比如why major这样的作文里写比较好？谢谢大家指点。
