how to make apointment for travel documents application?

Born in the US while parents aren't holding green card yet, learned need to apply for travel documents to go back to china.

Downloaded the Chinese Consulate app, however, when I register account, I only see the chinese passport or ID information allowed to enter, is there something wrong I did?
