Does anyone know the harsh reality in Sichuan province during the 70s? Do some investigation and you will find out why this seemly unspeakable things happened 20-30 years ago.

I grew up during the time in southern China, and listened to so many stories men and women were escaping for a life. This is not happening in China anymore, fortunately. Taking this old event to label all Chinese as heartless is unfair and inappropraite.

I have nothing to do personally with anyone in this story. Just feel uneasy as a bystander and as a Chinese.
