请教买夏天回中国机票时机

不好意思，doesnot mean to do 每日一问, but people in this forum are so experienced in travelling, it is a shame to not benefit from your knowledge.

过去几年，我们村儿到首都北京机票价格在1000-1200之间, including UA direct flight to Beijing.
I am looking to buy summer tickets to Beijing again, travelling for a month, starting end of June.
I am getting quotes of $1600-18000 now, from all airlines. It is a big jump, and even more comfortable when 5-6 of us have to travel.

Any comment on the price increase? Conspiracy? Too early?

Any idea when is the best time to buy summer tickets to China?
