“但所有的lounge都是今非昔比” 你想当然矣。去 YouTube 看人家的 reviews 加上bloggers 的

write up with gazillion of pictures. 
实际情形并不是你想象中的那样。 比方説 SPA treatments or soak bath, 似乎在昔日的 lounge 是不存在的 但是現今很多都有。連 full body massage 都有。

没有用过瑞航，但是 QR, CX, SQ, QF, TG, 甚至 AA 的flagship dining 都是 a la Carte like at a restaurant, 厨师在厨房 prepare 你的 order, 和在你面前做出來有什么分别？ 又不是做一个 flambé 牛排 或者一个 Crepe Suzette 甜品，要那个戏剧性效果？

土耳其航空的 lounge 有很多个 food stations with various ethnic cuisines, and yes, the chefs cook behind the counter though most are simple foods.  IIRC 甜酒以前在跨坛上写过。 我们在 2019 Aeroplan mini Round the World trip 本來有机会好好用一下。 可惜威尼斯出发时 delayed 了 九十多分钟，在 IST Tarmac 又要等巴士來才可以下机，而 connection gate to SIN 要步行 二十分钟，结果只能夠在 lounge 入口附近坐坐，喝杯饮料就要离开。 这个是要再去的！

土航在飞机上还弄个空服穿上厨師服 連帽子都戴上，在用餐时推一个 Carte 出来 解説 今天的 meal items, 在 Carte 上 fix 你的 salad order etc.  意大利航空还即时给熱气腾腾的各种 pasta 拌你选的酱汁。虽然有点儿 gimmick, 但食物水准是不错的。

我们对 lounge 的要求其实比较简单，above avg 的 F & B, 设备良好的淋浴间，quiet area with comfy chaises in case you want to get some shut eye time.  QR 和 CX 的头等lounge 还有 sleep room equipped with beds and full bath.  

但是有些人是很注重这些的。 我有一个朋友是 Asian American, 在前几年曾经在 lay off from work 之后 特别在 new job started 之前 去了一个旅行 完全是為了体驗里程能换到的最好的商务和头等舱，外加特意选择了long layover 的 connections to check out all the famous lounges.  

 

這是他对各家航司lounge 的評价。他对汉莎航空不高兴，因为送他去 Tarmac 的不是 Porche!

LH, not happy i didnt get my porsche. altho MUC hasway  more food than FRA.

lacking
EYs just "large", not impressed. JFK EY sucks and small （备注 EY 是 Etihad, TG 是 Thai, ANA 是全日空， JL 是日航。)

TG ANA lacking. JL  is more meh. esp w limited food.>>

 

我完全同意他对 JL 日航 的评价。It really surprised me by how poor its lounge quality is, at its home ports.  BR 台湾的長荣也是，飞机上很好 lounge 完全不行。 他后来说 JL in flight 非常好，弥补了 lounge 的严重不足。之后我们坐过 JFK to HND 头等，就我们两，並不觉得特别好，中規中矩而巳。
