Last year  I went  back China did research related to your question.  It is really case by case. Usually 20-30%  stocks wil offered for intelectural property these days in China.  Do you have the pattern(s) for the core tech?  This is your base for the negotiation.  Who and what is your competitor (s)? What is the marketign risk? All the factors should be comsidered for all parties. If you are sure that your invention or product is leading stuff in the market and it would have bright future. Then you can certainly  attract  finacial support from many  resources.  The story could be totally different. I am interested in your efforts as well.
