Wealth grows in scale

What matters is the base. The more you have, the faster your wealth will grow. That's why legacy matters. There are legacy politicians like FDR, legacy ministers like MLK, Jr. You will never be able to catch up with the wealthy and most wealthy because of the immense scale of wealth they own. And the next generations too. The resources of the 0.1% wealthy parents are incomparable to that of the middle class, upper middle class parents like you and me. So just stop the futile debate about what are the determinants of kids' success. It is your dad's wallet, stupid. 99% true.
