我所知道的A.B. Duke 奖学金

个人经历：

     儿子是高中class 2022的，申请了 6所UCs +好像 9所 T20的私立学校，包括Duke (RD).

申请大学时不知道文学城有子女论坛，根本就算申请大学的小白。 申请Duke时, 根本不知道有A.B. Duke scholarship，除了RD申请的资料外，没有提交任何额外的材料或者essay. 有幸被Duke的Scholarship committe选中成为 30-50名finalists之一。 据说所有Duke applicants （50K applicants) 自动计入AB Duke 的pool。

好像是2月、3月的某个时候收到 LL 和 AB Duke Finalist 的email 通知。 通知是email, 发到儿子的邮箱 （进入垃圾箱了）。 快到第一次schedule meeting 的时候，才接到电话通知，知道入围了这个finalists, 赶紧去垃圾邮件里把Duke AB 入围通知找了出来，LOL。 当时啥都不知道，赶紧google, 才找到上面WXC的ID写的介绍材料。 当时大大惊喜啊 ~~天上掉馅饼啊： $300K+ , elite student status, 每年 $5000 research fund, summer exchange to UK (Cambridge or Oxford）+ faculty advisor from 1st year? + all good stuff  ... 高兴，感激Duke的厚爱啊。

PS。 为了来WXC请教，申请了好几个ID都没成，最后DukeAB 成了，所以一直用DukeAB这个ID了 ：）
