儿子接受了return offer

儿子的高中是在迷茫中成长的。不知道自己将来想干啥。一有空就去追女孩子。曾经因为骑车去女孩家出了车祸，进了急诊室。核磁共振都检查了。作业从来都是敷衍了事。曾经数学老师打电话给我们说，如果儿子不把欠的作业补上，就不能得A。她说儿子是唯一的在下课给她说Have a good day 的人。她因此有了恻隐之心。在申请大学的12月，他手机用了80G流量。他因此忘了UIUC的申请截止日期。没有了保底学校。发榜时，在H 和 Y waiting lists 上。虽然是说起来体面，还不如直接拒绝叫人安心。仅有的去处是UVA和W&M。这时候，儿子一直不缴英语期未作文，后来老师拒绝接受，给了他一个D. 他的GPA因此从第二滑向了第五、六。我为此大发脾气，儿子一副不在乎的样子，说it does not matter.

儿子这种状态，我们坚决不让他去UVA. 

我在四月底给Alabama 打电话。UA接受了他。最后是主修数学和CS。在二年级时他发现找实习工作很难，于是决定转校，回到了本州。

Thanks God! 儿子终于在大学知道take care business 了。
