Jesus spoken a local Palestinian dialect. The New Testament was written in a form of Greek.  Right there, I question the fidelity of the record.  I am not sure from there on how many languages the message had to travel through before it was in King James’ Bible.  So, take it (including the syntax) with a grain, maybe a pound, of salt.
