Remind your daughter that others see her as she sees herself.  In order for others to value her, she must value herself first.

There is also a practical aspect of valuing herself.  In the primitive portion of the male brain, there is a part that has evolved over millions of years by hunting activity.  That part is stimulated by chasing.  The resulting satisfaction should not be discounted or dismissed...

We all like to think of ourselves as rational.  But that very thought is itself irrational.  How much of our very being is under the control of consciousness?
