Math Readiness Drops to 14-Year Low among US High School Graduates.

“The negative trend in math readiness is a red flag for our country, given the growing importance of math and science skills in the increasingly tech-driven US and global job market,” “It is vital that we turn this trend around for the next generation and make sure students are learning the math skills they need for success in college and career.”

Only 40% of the high school graduates are ready for the 1st year college algebra class. 33% of the graduates met none of the four ACT College Readiness and the number is GOING UP? why?

明白为什么一些学生一年之后都转到easy 专业了？像那个最年轻的民主党酒保西裔女议员从生物化学转到国际政治？由于人口结构变化，会有越来越多这样的人当选，因为票仓越来越大。国家前途堪忧!
