第一次参加College Road Show

Vanderbilt。

中国城吃完螃蟹就奔这儿，是二娃第一次跟AO近距离接触。

AO们也是很好的Sales，都特能说，主要目的是申请人越多越好。二娃听完后觉得Vandy很fit，最吸引他的是Nashiville的乡村音乐。其实鬼知道，他根本不听什么乡村音乐。

Vandy校园很漂亮，大小适中，本科生6000多人，Nashiville也是一中型城市，但是位处南方，相当保守。

俺的笔记，估计别的学校也大同小异

  1. AO们很重视学生有没有Passion
  2. 申请可以不Declare Major, 但要选择4所Colleges中的一所，选课可以跨学院
  3. 第一年每个学生指定一个Advisor，帮助学生第二年确定Major
  4. SAT成绩采取Super Score， ACT看Composite Score
  5. 推荐信，一般三封。高三高四的Core Teacher两封，Counselor一封。可以有附加的推荐信，总数不要超过5封
  6. Essay, 注重其他材料不能体现的方面，可以让人proofread，但不要改写，AO真的能看出来

来听的大部分是Senior。个人感觉让Junior听听挺好的，这样他们可以了解AO都看那些东西，还有一年的时间可以努力，也可以让他们更Motivated。
