It really depends your policy...

I have 3 Volvo newer car (less than 2 years old).  $1600/yr for two adults.  Did not add high schoolers yet.  Also, full cover or just liability that will be big different.  If you live New York, LA, Washington DC that will be more expensive. 

Also, you daily drive distance is another factor.  The best way, you shop around to find best price and best coverage.
