Divorce without children is good in this case

Her parents should pull her up, rather than left her alone while she was struggling (her marriage ceremony w/o guests is a sign).  

I won't worry about 首付款.  If she can come back and find a better husband (she definitely deserves), loss of the whole 首付款 is much better in the long run than stuck in that situation.
