和探春商榷有关race之事

每次提到这个话题您好像总是很确定只要孩子填写母亲为越南裔， 孩子就是亚裔， 好像和父亲无关似的， 其实不必那么defensive.

今天把孩子的common app打开来再看了一下这一栏是如何填写的, common app 是这样问的:

1. Are you Hispanic/Latino? 

   Yes? 

   No.

   If yes, please describe your background

2. Regardless of your answer to prior question, please indicate how you identify yourself

   A. American Indian or Alaska native  (including all original people of americas)

   B. Asian

   C. Black or African American  ( including Africa and Caribbean) 

   D. Native Hawaiian or other pacific islanders (including original people)

   E. Whites (including middle easterns)
