我小的stepdaughter也曾问过我对那些NFL players的看法如何。我跟她说：

"Those guys are lucky that they are in America. In other countries they would have been sent to jail for doing something like this. For that alone they should be grateful that they are Americans."

她转眼看看她爸。她爸说："___ (my first name) is right!"

她很满意地点点头。

咱不只是 made a statement, 并且顺手提出证据，这样才有说服力。
