作为Kinnos 的创始人，女儿和她的伙伴被财富杂志 ( Forbes)选为30岁以下最具才华的未來领袖( Forbes 30 Under 30 in Healthcare). 他们发明和创业的故事受到了主要媒体的广泛报道：NPR, The Wall Street Journal, The New Yorker，新华社等等。今年五月他们从哥大毕业，荣获“优秀毕业生”奖，成为获得这一奖项的唯一本科毕业生组合。他们发明了一种廉价高效的消毒液添加剂，取名为“Highlight”。这种添加剂能够使消毒液变成亮蓝色，并更易于附着在要消毒的表面，同时不易挥发。染色的消毒液在喷洒５到１０分钟后将渐渐变为透明，这既避免了染脏物体，也可从视觉上让医卫工作者了解消毒进度。

今年春天，他们荣获了享有声望的Lemelson-MIT大学生发明奖。在Lemelson-MIT Eureka Fest, 女儿代表Kinnos演讲，给中学生发明家讲述他们创业成长历程。我小女儿和朋友们看了以后，觉得姐姐的演讲激励人心，有启发性，同时又很风趣，她们受益不浅。我大女儿从小就伶牙利嘴，能说会道。加上她知识丰富，深入浅出，跟她交谈是一种享受。她在哥大是最红的TA和MCAT的老师。因为她的杰出口才，我们一直以为她会当律师或从政。根本没想到她会对科学领域感兴趣，走上了发明和创业的道路。
