depends on your educational ideology and kid's personality

personality.  The best part of small LAC are the mentorship, the depth of interaction with professors, closely knit community is easier to develop deeper life long friendships.

Besides it's almost free education.  The college has money to support students to pursue some outragous ideas, most eccentric clubs....
