This is so laughable. You Harvard snobs are so worried about being perceived as elitist that in order to feel better about yourselves you have to prove to the world that you can donate money to a cause. Bravo. How about, rather than simply paying money to make your guilt go away, actually standing up for some change in this world by teaching and emphasizing ethical business practices and hiring faculty that uphold some standards of common decency. Face the facts: Harvard Business School has a branding problem and until your leadership does something radical to try to change the culture of entitlement and superiority, NOTHING WILL CHANGE. Learn from a business school leader that actually understands this: Dean Rich Lyons from the Haas School of Business. He implemented the Four Haas Defining Principles: 1) Question the Status Quo, 2) Confidence without attitude 3) Students always 4) Beyond yourself. Get over yourselves. It's not about you.
