我家丫头的“数字”

大家要求给具体数字，我就来BSO一下。妈妈说起孩子来总有点夸大，我尽量只讲事实。

 

丫头上的是一个竞争很激烈，亚裔很多的大公校。

年级第一名

IB

申请大学的时候又10门AP， 都是五分。

SAT2400。 SATII： 数学800， 物理800， 美国历史780

 

学校两个大组织的president, vice president。几个组织的representative, treasure, communication correspondent, tutor.  基本上是天天上课前下课后都有一个小时的事情。

在学校最好的玄乐队当第一大提琴手。

 

课外活动：舞蹈从K开始。 每周3次课， 每次3个小时， 星期六10个小时的排练, 每年两个大演出。大提琴上private lesson 7 年. 中文课学了13年。十二年级初，在州立大学数学系给教授和研究生做了一个semina.

 

每年夏天都参加一个全国知名的夏令营。最后一年在该夏令营当counselor.

 

奖：数学两个国家级奖。大提琴两个州际奖。计算机几个regional 个人和集体奖，西班牙语两个州际比赛第一名。 大大小小舞蹈比赛许多头等奖。

 

我知道她的推荐信非常好。她舞蹈团director的推荐信给我看了。 信上说丫头是她执教30多年来 “the single most intelligent and multi-talented student”, 说 ”She is a leader who leads with a quiet strength and assurance that soothes her team members and quiets any competition.  “

她夏令营的director 和我说，丫头”set the tone for the camp”, “Your daughter has a lot to do with the way the camp is.”.  他告诉我他给丫头写了一份”very, very good recommendation”.
