I hate Summer school time off

Elementary schools in the U.S. provide a great amount of fun times for kids. Why bother to have 3 months off in Summer and make parents pay to fill up their times at camps?

For most parents, unfortunately, "My kids are on summer break" is not a good excuse for not showing up at work. Parents still have to work to get paid. Not only won't most parents get to spend more quality time with their kids, they end up having to spend more money on camp fees and time driving kids around for camps......

Who benefit the most from the Summer school time off?

Those business people that run camps. Math, golf, tennis, swimming, art, sailing, horse riding.....camps.

I am looking around for a mid size farm to look into the idea of running a back to nature summer camp. The name of my camp business "Old Gooddays" (in lawyer's hands to register this trademark, may have to change if already taken). I am taking my 9 year old boy to visit the farms I am looking at to own, he will learn the entire process of starting and owning a business this Summer, all the joys and hard works.

Yesterday, he asked "Can I run the business when I am 15?".

Of course, son, that is what I am hoping for, willingness to do hard works and ability to make a living.
