我今年鬼节之作：埃及女王和永恒之树

我们这条街有17户人家，我一家中国人。都是好事之徒（include me )。鬼节(Halloween) 各显神通, 攀比竞争，bring our streat as the most popular " trick and treat" destination in the whole neighborhood. 方圆10 里的小孩大人开车来此，如逛庙会一般。

One of my neighbor used to be stage designer at a theater（舞台设计） . Nowdays he is a chief financial officer in one company, his real passion is still stage design. Halloween is his the ultimate stage. This year's Halloween, he had been worked two weeks , put on one entire movie scene called" Scottish graveyard". He dressed as a one of the charcter,出出进进，回答问题，快乐的象小孩子一般。I understand him.

As same as a lot of women here , I have the girlish dream sometimes, I want to be a fashion designer . but I never had a chance.（我学油画和立体设计）I bought a manque（橱窗模特）7 years ago, she is 5'10'' (. as tall as my hu*****and). Every Halloween, I use paper (paper table cloth),make her an evening dress. I actually sew it.（告你一个密谜： paper can not be sawed, because it is not stretchable. but paper table cloth has a layer of plastic lining , it is saw-able ). This year I am too busy, my daughter had the cross country finial meet( I am volunteer) at the day before Halloween. when I come to dress my lady up (my manque), it was Wednesday around noon time,(I need pick my daughter and her school friends at 2:00. I had a few hours , and I am determined to put up a show, along with my neighbors.

我的埃级女王( the Egypt queen) 克里奥帕特拉。

I decide to use my last year design,( I made my lady Manque into the Egypt queen Cleopatra). her dress was made with stream paper from the party store。I was inspired by how the yarn was wraped.( it was 360度 wrapped in two loops) 。one single 毛线(hundred yards) is intricated woven from top to bottom , from front to back). I did a little study about it. I make her dress base on my study. Her hair was made with (毛线，stream paper 和面巾纸）。（I put the many layers wet tissue paper on the manque head, when paper dry, it had the right shape.)

Her necklace was one of my collections. I can twist it into any shape.

永恒之树（the eternal trees)

Early this year I did my experiment interior design at my house.The idea is the exterior become interior( 室外成室内的一部分). My fellow artist friend gave me 9 pieces of Young trees out of her property，they are about 13to 14 feet tall . I sprayed them with white spray, I took off the dead leaf, replaced the leaf with butterflies.(只是用来代替the dead leaf , it looks so died), the two pieces of icicle(冰柱），was made of wool.The trees are in the living room by the window , I divided them into four groups, they can be free standing and support each other.

一个教油画的professor once said: the white and black are not considered as color in the oil painting. they have the quality of the eternity(黑与白在油画中不被看成是色彩, they have （永恒的气质）。I agree with it. it is why I named my tree, " 永横之树”。

I am telling you: it cost me more time and effort for putting my article and pictures over here than making my whole project.

Sigh.
