challenge the stated fact that no national law for maternity leave is in place currently, you perhaps need to provide more details such as place (USA? which state? etc.), whether it's a company policy or a state policy or a federal law (which I doubt). Otherwise, what you testified is only a single individual case, not representative; although that could be a direction for us to work to bring it on in the near future; because I believe American mothers deserve better.
