might be the best for you now. 4.5% return is not bad. It takes a lot of time and passion to learn one style of investment, no matter it is stock, RE, bond, small business. Even someone tells you this and that, you won't be able to do it. So just go CD for now, and use 25% of the money to explore other opportunities. it pays to learn and it will be paid off if learned. no quick turnaround.
