Actually, I had a Frigidael dishwasher that had the same issues.

that just does not last long, if you use it all the time, it does not have a grinder so if the tenant does not rinse, it will be like that after a while, Mine lasted only 2 .5 years. 

I replaced mine because it is at a high end APT and rent is relatively high, you can judge yourself, but do ask the tenant to wash or rinse first. I ended up buying a GE higher quality, stainless one that onyl cost $450.
