  2. find the given version and the prepared one
  3. have 2 versions reconciled
  4. sit down and make sure you understand the concept of "意译"
  5. revisit the translated version and see if it is too far from the spirit of the original
In case you still believe you have something to contribute, do it in a constructive way instead of blaming the translator for mingling his "own stuffs" in. An educated person normally wouldn't challenge a translator in your way unless it is evidenced that the translation is fundamentally flawed or fraudulent.
