这个律师可靠吗？

准备办uncontested divorce. 找了一个lawyer. He agreed for a flat fee, to draft the agreement "with consultations (and one time edit), draft divorce documents needed for filing and explanation of how to file). " 但是，我必须一次付清所有的钱。以下是retaining letter 的节选“... I will require an engagement FLAT fee of $xxxx.xx. The intent of this agreement is that there will be a one time engagement fee to cover the drafting of the above referenced documents after consultations with the client." 但是我网上查了一下，一次付清更象retainer fee not fixed fee.即，我付的flat fee并不保证他必须把列出的是完成。请问我signed的retainer agreement是不是有漏洞？另外，我们只签了这封信，而且他只给了我这封信的复印件，而不是原件。谢谢。
