我想让孩子考德州的州立大学。如果现在在德州买一套房子，租出去，说自己用，明年孩子考大学，有没有可能申请as texas resident? 还是一定要在那里住一年？

另外我想买的房子是plano地区。大家对德州地产怎么看？
