The only information you have provided is $850 net rent income per house.  That means that you have $61,200 net income a year.  The question is what income you have now and your yearly expense.  You have a high school age son.  Do you have a wife?  Does she work?  etc.  If you want to send over some more information, I can help you determine whether or not you can retire.
