Thanks so much! I guess the only thing that needs translation would be the birth certificate then. They are over 80 and so will be exempt from the finger printing requirements. 

I see. Can I ask any person in the US to do it and notarize it? There is a Chinese woman who is also a notary in my town who is willing to help. Or do I need to go to a bank to notarize her signature?
