统考成绩可以用来定gifted？

看帖子有说统考成绩百分之九十几的就会被学校认为是gifted。这是说的什么统考？ 好学校通常每年级大约会有多少个这样的孩子？

考试成绩好和gifted貌似不算一回事吧。
