小学毕业了

下面是毕业典礼上娃的老师给他的评论，这个老师算很了解他。娃在学校功课也就是中上，基本上作业就是对付到“能比一半同学好就行了”，其它时间就是自己捣鼓东西。现在小学还好，如果娃一直这个做派将来会不会影响考大学啊。我不担心他将来谋生，但会觉得如果因为他这做派进不了好大学是个遗憾。有没有过来人说说。

He knows more about things I don’t know about than maybe anyone I’ve ever met. For about four months he filled my head with every fact possible on 3-D printing – and what makes it interesting about having a student like this in the class, is it inspires you to start learning something new. So, I went home and looked up videos, suddenly became attuned to news articles related to the technology and just generally became more interested because of his passion. He’s a classic self-taught kind of person – someone who could spend days in a basement with his own projects. School, I’m sure, often felt like a distraction to what was going on in his head. But he suffered through it politely and was a student who got along with everyone – he earned a lot of respect from his peers by just being the one person you could count on to be calm, cool and collected
