小中男高中senior给父母的两个email

俺娃小中男是高中senior，今年没爬上藤，秋天去州校读工程。but I am proud of him.
最近娃在外州参加一个全国比赛。比赛很忙碌，但娃不忘在重要的日子里给我们老两口发email。

Father's day 那天他爹收到的email，

Hey dad,

  Although I am currently in XXXX, I just wanted to let you know that you are an amazing person. I am proud to call you my dad, my mentor, my teacher, my friend. 

  Everyday is Father's Day for me. …………………………………………………………

今早是俺在娃的高中做了4年volunteer crossing guard的最后一天，俺早上收到娃从外州给俺发来的email：

Hi mom,

Today is your last day of doing traffic guard for XXX high school. I just wanted to say thank you for giving up all your Tuesday mornings volunteering to keep students safe. Mom, you are a caring and compassionate person. I know that every student who walked across that XXX street will come to appreciate the work that you and your fellow traffic guard volunteers put into to make this school a safer place.
