我是真的不懂加州的搞IT 的地主

每当我看到这么多的地主都是在加州的， 我是真的不能理解他／她们。

 

有过统计， 一个人的赚钱能力会在50 左右达到高潮。

假设加州的 IT 人在50 岁前没有任何积蓄，所有的钱都来供养自住房和小孩的教育和自己的其它开销了。

 从50 岁开始存钱，假设工资 30万。 

从 2019 开始， 员工可以存 税前 $19,000,  大多数的公司match 员工的 6%工资, 换言之， 公司貢献 $300,000的6%， 就是$18,000,  再加上 IRS 的 对50岁以上的人照顾， 可以多放 6000.

 

所以每年可放 19000＋18000＋6000 =43000, 按每年12% 的 收益， 15年后可以达到 2M。

 

2M 不是很多钱， 但在自住房付清的情况下， 再加上 政府的退休金就足够了。觉得不够， 卖了加州的房子， 搬离加州。

 

我觉得加州 IT人太稽人忧天了， 没必要牺牲生活质量去做地主。
