孩子学生今年的早申录取情况

今天问了一下孩子今年学生的录取情况，总共5个学生，3个被top5录了，1个被defer, 1个被直接拒了。

学生中有白人有华裔。被录的3个的共同点是weighted GPA 都是top1%，除了1人有大奖外，另外2人没有特别突出的奖。

5个孩子EC都很好。感觉另外2个孩子吃亏在weighted GPA不是特别理想上了。其中1人还有艺术类的全国第二名奖。

5个孩子都对给自己写推荐信的老师信心满满。Essays 不论选题或内容都是经过反复推敲修改过的。孩子对他们把关很严，不仅指导如何写，还一次次帮他们反复润色修改直到双方感觉满意为止。所以没被录取的2人感觉他们在essays 上出问题的可能性不大。
