Leave of absence from college

It takes lots of courage to bring up the subject of leave of absence from college, especially to Asian parents. The student must have already fought so many battles to come to parents. As parents, our first question could be "why",  but please keep an open mind about what we are about to hear, or prepare for a non-answer.
