We were traveling in Wyoming and ordered breakfast at McDonald's drive through window.
After I parked my car in the parking lot, we noticed an homeless man sitting by the curb not far from us. It was a bright morning. What happened next made me proud, my kids were discussing if they should offer him food. While I was sipping my coffee, I heard the door open and I saw my son approached the man and offered his share of food and a bottle of water. Warm food and warm heart.
On this special time of the year, I remain grateful and thankful.
