Read the Quora comment of Prof Ben Zhao, a UChicago professor

It is difficult to argue that CSRankings is trading volume for quality, when you consider that only 3 conferences per research area make the cut. If CSRankings encourages you to optimize for “quantity,” by submitting to SOSP or NSDI or SIGCOMM, then where would we submit if we were optimizing for “quality”?
