Did you veryfy your computer hardware?

preinstall, you need to make sure you have enough space on your hard drive.  Also, you computer CPU is 32 or 64 bit?  If you install 64 to 32 that you won't be able to do so.  Make sure you have enough RAM memory.

What version windows OS that you want to install?  Pro or non-pro?  So far, I did not have any problem install any OS.  Even I install 3 different OS on a same computer.  Did you partition your hard drive?

Also, before you install, you should format you hard drive first.  If your hard drive already installed an OS, that no way you can install it. 

You should not call tech support.  You should seach knowledge base and you can find all answers there.  Good luck.
