He has been completely brainwashed! What kind of logic he has! He considered himself privileged without knowing how hard we Asian parents work and sacrify our time and resources for the benefit of our children. He thought all the problems came from the society ignoring the important role that family play in children's education! Is it parents'fault that our children have a good head start that we should be penalized? Is it wrong that we spend time and money on our children's education instead of going to the movies, shows and casinos like those other parents do?
I was in shock that he ignored the fact that many Asian students today not only have the good grades but also all other qualifications he mentioned ! Asian kids are super powered and still couldn't get into some elite schools simply because of their skin color! For our second generation, they all considered themselves plain Americans, not different from each other. Why we are promoting anything to differ and segregate them rather than unite them?
