I have some much free time today....
I could not remember exactly when and where she got the idea. One day, she said “when I grow up, I want to be rich. I want to be rich so that I can give it all away.” Several years later, I teased about it and reminded her about it. She said “I said that? when I grow up, I want to donate to a school. I want to donate enough so that a college can be named after me.” Years later on college tours, I reminded her about it again. She said “when I grow up, I want to donate to a school. I want to donate enough so that a library can be named after me.” On the way to college, I again teased. This time she said “It may not be a library, it may be a room, or a scholarship.” To which, I replied “My dear, whatever it is, it is within your reach. Be grateful always, and it is within your reach. No pressure!”
