For engineering jobs (esp. CS or EE), CMU and Cornell seem to be no brainer to many people, but the truth is that you can not go wrong with any of the 4 schools.
Duke and Northwestern are not particularly known for the best CS and EE programs, but for engineering job market, their reputation and quality are more than enough to nail any top job, if your daughter is "good enough".
